Wheel Of Fortune 1 Letter Answer Shocks Viewers, Sajak
Finding the solution to a “Wheel of Fortune” puzzle with 1 letter uncovered is a daunting task understandably. Some would say that only luck could cut through the tremendous odds against success. But Caitlin Burke, 26, shocked the world and left Pat Sajak shaking his head when she got a “good feeling” about a puzzle in a recent episode of the long-running game show.
The 'Wheel of Fortune' 1 letter answer hit like lightning
The look on Pat Sajak's face after Burke pulled the answer to the 27-letter puzzle seemingly out of thin air is priceless. Since the “Wheel of Fortune” game show first hit the airwaves in 1975, it is doubtful that there has been a contestant who beat the odds like Burke. ”I’ve got a good feeling about this” was the answer to the “Wheel of Fortune” puzzle. The letter “L” had been the only one on the board then. ”R” had been eliminated for choices though. Access Hollywood explains that many think there could have been some kind of fix that happened for Caitlin Burke to get such an amazing answer. There isn’t any evidence that would support this though.
Educated guess
In an interview with the CBS “Early Show,” Burke revealed her thought process leading up to the “Wheel of Fortune” one letter answer. She knew the first word had been a contraction that began with 1 letter, which had to be an “I.”. On the “Early Show,” Burke explained that the amount of letters missing didn’t bother her. Through “years of practice and watching,” Burke was able to make a guess that had been half educated, one half good luck. She won a Caribbean getaway. About $6,500 went into this. In total, she won $53,618 in money and prizes during her run as champion.
Burke gave up easily
That's a question many people in the media are asking, and also the answer based on some sources is that Caitlin Burke had been playing it safe. She is definitely good with puzzles. She did hit “Bankrupt” already though which may have encouraged her to quit. Rather than trying to spin again, she just got the “L” and then guessed.
